Spring is Here......

Well, Spring is here and isn't it wonderful. This is my favorite time of year. I love to watch the world wake up each spring. To me it is a chance to start over. Having been a florist for over 30 years, I love to see all the spring flowers pop up and it won't be but a few warm days until there will be colors of pink, purple and yellow showing up.

I was thinking just the other day that Spring is also a chance for each of us to wake up and start over. Get rid of all the negative thoughts that have been dragging you down. Try thinking good positive thoughts. I really do believe that is you think about the good things in your life that you can truly be happy.

I hope you can enjoy SPRING while it is her for it doesn't last long enough.

Thinking Positive

Have you ever notice how much better your day goes when you start out thinking "This will be a great day"?

Recently while attending a Chamber of Commerce meeting here in Preston a video from an Oprah show was shown talking about learning to think positive. It pointed out how that if we are negative about things that usually bad things will happen. Example: You think when the mail comes today "I am just sure that all that will be there is bills"; and sure enough that will happen. However, if you think "I just know that today I will receive a payment or a nice card from a friend"; then that is just what will arrive. I have spent most of life being happy and thinking positive but I am just like everyone else, I can get discouraged and then I begin to think negative thoughts. After the meeting I made up my mind to think good thoughts and to have faith enough that good things will come and guess what? I have had more good luck, been happier and yes, I have even been getting good things in the mail. Try adjusting your attitude and you will be having good days to.........
