How I Feel
On Tuesday, I posted a message about the 4th of July. Well, today I want to tell you that my heart was touched yesterday as I watched some young boy scouts post the flags at a 4th of July meeting in Lewiston, Ut at that small city's annual celebration. A young husband and father who is in the service, presented the mayor with a flag and read a story about where that flag had been. I don't think any of us give enough respect to our flag. As I sat there enjoying a nice warm summer day, free to do what ever I wish, I could not help but think of all the lives that have been given for ME, for the freedom I enjoy. I hope you will all take time in your busy life for the important things, like honoring and flying our flag. If you have a service man or woman in your life please give them a hug for me. I am so thankful to live in America, the land of the free and the home of the brave.
