Hi everyone!
Starting this week, I will be posting more Heritage Makers information here in my blog. I hope you will make it a habit to check back often :0)
I just returned from two great vacations. My husband and two of our Granddaughters went to Grant, Montana (west of the Clark Canyon Dam) for an awesome Rander ride along the top of the Contenital Divide with Montana on one side and Idaho on the other. We had some challanges getting thorugh the snow banks but the effort was well worth it for the awsome view.
This week we had fun at Island park with my brothers. We drove the entire loop round yellowstone Park and enjoyed dinner at West Yellowstone. The next day we visited Hebdon and Quake lake. It was so interesting to learn all about the quake that happened August 17, 1959. I was a Jr. at Preston High and working at the Sky View Drive in Theater. I still remember it as if it just happened but it will soon be 50 years.
Life is Good. Now i have to get busy and get all my photo's edited and uploaded to Heritage Makers so I can get some albums published. I would love to show you how it's done!!!

I think it is here......SPRING!!!
Could it be..... that SPRING is really here. Oh I hope so. It is sunny and beautiful outside today and the snow from last week here in southern Idaho has melted. I just looked out and saw 2 robins who have returned to build their nests in our big pine tree out back. My tulips and daffodills have grown several inches in the last few days. Life is good.
I just completed a 12"x12" hardbound storybook about our Alaska cruise. I used Heritage Makers and built this book from scratch. I just love all the wonderful collections of images available to us (over 35,000). I had fun making each layout from a difffernt collection. I hope you enjoy it.

Hogle Zoo Family trip Slide show.
Here is my latest Heritage Makers project, a 8"x8" storybook. I created it using Zoo Trip collection but you can use one of the quick and easy templates.
Well, is SPRING coming or not???
Here in southeastern Idaho we had a few good days, infact I got my flower gardens all cleaned out and planted peas, radishes and luttce (Joy, the gardner on Good things Utah said it was OK.) But then Wednesday we had another huge snow storm abd so the ground is white again! I have enjoyed this winter since I now have a "stay at home, set your own hours" job with Heritage Makers. I have not had to drive on slick roads, not even once. Speaking of slick roads, I have a dear HM's friend who hit slick ice and rolled her car a few weeks ago and she sent me some information that I think is important to know. Do not use your cruise control when driving on slick and slusshy roads as it effects your car and can send it flying through the air.
I have been busy as ever. Much to my surprise, as I thought I had retired after 10 years of directing Happiness Is Scrapbooking Educational Scrapbooking Seminars, the gals called me and ask if I would help them one more year. Mark your calendar for May 1-2. We will be holding it in Roy, Utah. Visit our web site http://www.happinessisscrapbooking.com/ to read all about it. If you are a company and wish to have a booth with us, contact me right away. It's FREE when you provide product for classes and door prizes.
I have also been building a new web site for digital scrapbooking through Google. I hope you will visit it, be sure to use the navigation tabs to see all the information I have placed there. Note the good info in Joyce's Hints and tricks and our Heritage Makers this months specials.

Can't Wait For Spring
Oh my gosh where have the last two months gone??? I can't believe that it has been that long since I lasted posted. I have been really busy and a lot of things have happend since the begining of 2009.
1. I am so excited about my Heritage Makers business. I have some terrific gals whom I have sponsored with a FREE "Basic" account (I could do the same for you). Through online webinar classes together we are learning more and more every day about all the wonderful things HM's will do for us.
2. I was so lucky to get to go to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico with my husband and friends where we enjoyed the warm sunny days. It sure helped my arthritis but then it was hard to come back to some huge snow storms. I love winter and all the snow now I am retired and don't have to drive on slick roads every day.
3. I attended HM's Regional meetings in Sandy, Ut this month and it was sooooo fun to see all the beautiful home decore samples and some of the most beautiful albums, posters, canvas wall decor, playing cards and greeting cards. Oh, I can't forget to tell you about our new cookbooks that release March 3rd. To launch this new item to our product line, we have a fantastic sale. Buy 4 cookbook credits for $59 and save $50. Now is the time to be building our Graduation, Mothers Day, birthday, etc. gifts for the year. This has been just a 4 day sale and ends tonight. Call me quick so I can order for you. Order from me this month and I have something special for you FREE.
4. I have been busy working on several HM's albums and I just completed a 8x8 album or our family trip to Hogle Zoo last year. I ordered it last Friday and much to my surprise I recieved it in the mail yesterday. That is just 5 days, what great service. What other company do you know where you can have over 35,000 images and hundreds of templates to help you tell your stories and then order and recieve a professional hard bound book in just 5 days(3 working days!) Shout it from the roof top, that is what Heritage Makers is all about. :0)
5. I have also been busy making baby blessing dresses which I sell on Ebay.
6. And, I have been helping a friend dump her old computer and load a brand new one. How fun it is to update and get current. I was thinking while helping her, that a computer is just like our homes, we have to keep them cleaned out, updated and maintain them .
Oh, I can't forget to tell you about out

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

HAPPY NEW YEAR....... Hope you had a nice Christmas. I love Christmas and did especially this year. I grew up hear in southern Idaho, with tons of snow. I remember walking over the fence posts because the snow was so deep. (My kids don't believe that but it's true.) The last ten years or so we just haven't gotten to much snow but this year it started to snow on Christmas Eve and never stopped for over 24 hours. It was simply beautiful and sure set the mood for Christmas.
We are lucky because both our children are always able to come home for Christmas, it's a tradition now. Even our teenage daughters love to come home and be with the younger cousins. After all, isn't that what Christmas is all about?
Like me, I know you have many Christmas pictures to scrap, now is the time to do that. Heritage Makers has many beautiful collections and templates just waiting for you so I hope you can get started right now. Contact me if I can help you.
I was able to complete and give 2009 calendars to my family for Christmas. They were so easy to make using the quick and easy templates in the HM studio. I plan to take photo's all year long that I know will make a nice calendar for next year. (You can see my calendar on my website) www.Happinessisscrapbooking.com. I also had fun making a "A year in Review" 12x12 page which I attached to a tile so that our family can remember what a wonderful year 2008 was. Now it is time to move on to a new year. It makes me feel just like the new fresh snow, everything is pure and clean and it gives a chance to start over so we can make this year just a little bit better than last year. We all make new goals and I hope you are able to complete all of your wishes. WELCOME 2009, we are ready to make this the best year ever!!!
