I took a couple of days off this weekend to celebrate my husband birthday. I had forgotten how good it is to get away for a few days. We attended a concert in Wendover, just a small town out across the salt flats of Utah. Mel Tellis and his daughter Pam were the entertainers and they really did a good job. This little town has just built a new concert hall, probably something some might say would never fly out there, but it will.
I could not help but think that we all make our own kind of music. For the young, good music is loud and wild. for us older folks, good sound, well dressed entertainers and old songs that we remember over the years is good. We all can make the best of life and get out of it just what we put into it.
