I got up early this morning (3:30 a.m.) to watch the Royal Wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton. I wanted to help make history.
What a beautiful wedding, such a pretty bride and very nice groom (his Mother would have been proud) As a former florist, I was surprised at her bridal bouquet. I never could figure out why a bride would want to carry one of those big, heavy bouquets, but I have to admit I loved making them! Her wedding dress was elegant. I think she really had what she wanted on her wedding day, not what the world wanted.
Queen Elizabeth has been all my life, and still is one of my favorite people. She looked to pretty in her yellow outfit. Almost 70 years ago my Mother had a pen Pal from England and later I wrote to his niece for several years. this was the reason I have the interest in England that I do.
